Elizabeth Appert is a research technician responsible for all aspects of specimen request management, processing of specimen & data shipments and maintaining workflows and operating procedures for the Children’s Brain Tumor Tissue Consortium. She monitors the availability and quality of samples for use in scientific discovery efforts at participating CBTTC member institutions. After joining CHOP in July of 2015, Elizabeth continues to provide training, quality control and support for inquiries about the specimen collection process.
Elizabeth earned a BS degree with a double major in Cell Biology & Neuroscience and Physics from Rutgers University before completing a MS in Molecular Biology from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ.
