Jessica Cuba is the BioRC Laboratory Manager responsible for managing laboratory personnel and day-to-day laboratory operations with a focus on specimen processing and automated nucleic acid extraction in a CLIA-CAP environment.  She ensures the BioRC meets quality assurance and compliance requirements as mandated in its protocols, best practices guidelines, and biorepository industry standards. Jessica also helps track biospecimens received from diverse sources in support of NIH funded scientists, academic/industry investigators, and clinical workflows.

Prior to joining CHOP in August of 2016, Jessica worked as a Sample Management Supervisor and Principal Lab Technician at RUCDR Infinite Biologics and Biostorage Technologies, Inc. in Piscataway NJ.

Jessica earned a BA in Genetics from Rutgers University.  She is committed to establishing well-defined and targeted bio-specimen storage services, thereby enabling support for the advancement of research.
