Peeyush Goel is a Scientist involved with the drug development process using patient derived organoids (PODs), cell lines and PDX models.
Prior to joining CHOP in September 2022, Peeyush worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Pennsylvania in the areas of bone biology (Notch signaling inhibition in osteoclasts as a preventable approach for osteolytic metastasis and improved fracture healing) and cancer therapeutics (Therapeutic targeting of HER2+ breast cancers using engineered proteins and use of small molecule inhibitors against lung cancer). He also was a Senior Research Investigator at the University of Pennsylvania working in the area of cancer therapeutics.
Peeyush earned a BS in Biochemistry from University of Delhi and a MS in Medical Biotechnology from PGIMER, before completing a PhD in Life Sciences from Tata Memorial Center. He is committed to contributing to the development of an effective and personalized therapy for pediatric brain tumors.
