Nathan Johnson is a Bioinformatics Engineer responsible for developing bioinformatics workflows for Cavatica to support the Gabriella Miller Kids First Data Resource Center and other D3b Center projects.
Prior to joining D3b in December of 2020, Nathan worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Illumina in San Diego, CA.
Nathan earned a BA in Physics and Classical Studies from the University of Pennsylvania before completing a PhD in Physics from the University of California. He is committed to helping researchers leverage diverse sequencing datasets to gain insights into the causes of childhood cancer.
