Center for Data Driven Discovery in Biomedicine (D3b)
Parimala Killada is a Data Engineer responsible for development, testing and maintenance of data architectures, such as databases and processing systems. She is also responsible for modeling, exploring, creating and verifying the various datasets which are submitted as part of the Kids First Data Resource Center. Her research is focused on discovering methods and techniques for exploring, analyzing, and visualizing large sets of data.
Prior to joining CHOP in November of 2017, Parimala worked as a software engineering analyst at Accenture, where she implemented enterprise resource planning applications.
Parimala earned an MS at the University of Toledo. She is committed to doing the little things every day that makes a big difference in the lives of kids and to align with the center’s mission to make breakthroughs every time for every child, everywhere.
