Clinical Research Coordinator II

Judy Palma is a Clinical Research Coordinator II responsible for supporting multiple investigator-initiated clinical research protocols. She works closely with Clinical Research Project Manager to lead and analyze data collection, extraction, and perform regular quality control checks. Additionally, she communicates with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to manage continuing reviews, amendments, and deviations. She is also responsible for providing training to Clinical Research Associates and work-study personnel.
Prior to joining CHOP in September 2017, Judy worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Center for Hereditary Retinal Degenerations at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research efforts focused on providing treatments for incurable, inherited forms of retinal degeneration such as retinitis pigmentosa.
Judy earned a bachelor’s of science in Life Science with a minor in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. She is committed to the discovery of new treatments and cures of childhood cancer and other rare diseases through innovative research.
