Rachel Madhogarhia is a student researcher responsible for developing a new auto-segmentation module through deep learning in order to segment MRI images of pediatric brains. The goal of Rachel’s research is to incorporate this module into radiomics pipeline, and to help standardize segmentation practices across institutions.

Rachel joined CHOP in 2021 as a master’s student studying Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining, she was a software development engineer at Amazon Alexa.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Bioengineering with a double minor in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania. She is passionate about using software to transform the medical field.
