Whitney Rife is a Communications & Outreach Project Manager responsible for managing creative initiatives that align with the communications goals and advancement of the Center. With a focus on program development, campaign planning and project analysis, Whitney strives to keep the children at the heart of our communications and outreach endeavors. She is committed to bringing to light the innovative research programs benefiting, but not limited to the Children’s Brain Tumor Network and the Gabriella Miller Kids First Data Resource Center.
Prior to joining D3b in October of 2020, Whitney spent over 12 years working at marketing firms, start-ups and healthcare non-profits, like Mater Hospital’s Chicks in Pink – an organization committed to improving the quality of life for current breast cancer patients. Her diverse background in strategy and project management spans a variety of industries, which helps her stay abreast of new trends within the evolving marketing landscape. She finds applying her experience and skills to the pediatric research sector to be very fulfilling.
Whitney completed a BS in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington and is driven by the incredibly rewarding mission of saving children’s lives, and improving their overall health, well-being and happiness.
