Dr. Sina Bagheri is a Research Fellow responsible for translational research focused on brain tumors. He has expertise in MR image segmentation, small animal imaging, cryosectioning, autoradiography, histological and immunostaining, pixel-based multimodal correlation, and digitizing histology slides.
His research aims to use liquid biopsy biomarkers and multiple imaging techniques such as MRI and PET imaging to better understand tumor microenvironment, prognosis, and response evaluation.
Sina earned his medical degree at Shiraz University School of Medicine. Prior to joining D3b in March 2021, Sina worked on fetal MR imaging research at Shiraz Medical Imaging Research Center. He is also currently a Radiology Research Fellow at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
