Sanaz Varshochi, MD is a Research Fellow at the Center for Data-Driven Discovery in Biomedicine (D³b), specializing in imaging research for pediatric brain tumors. She applies advanced MRI analysis and deep learning to better identify and track tumors to improve how children are monitored and treated after surgery.

Currently, Dr. Varshochi is developing a deep learning model to detect residual and recurrent tumors on post-operative brain scans more accurately. Her work supports more precise clinical decision-making and personalized treatment planning. She earned her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and also brings expertise in statistical analysis and data visualization to her interdisciplinary research.
