Andrew D’ovidio

Andrew D’Ovidio is a Clinical Research Coordinator supporting the Liquid Biopsy and Children’s Brain Tumor Network (CBTN) research programs. In this role, he oversees patient consent, data entry, quality control, and coordination between internal and external research stakeholders.

Before joining the Center for Data-Driven Discovery in Biomedicine (D³b) in May 2025, Andrew served as a Research Project Manager at Leidos, where he studied the physiological and biomechanical challenges faced by U.S. Navy divers and submariners.

Andrew holds a Master of Science in Biomechanics and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. His academic research included the medical applications of 3D-printed materials, contributing to the development of low-cost prosthetics for children and sterile devices for use in immunocompromised environments, including NASA’s International Space Station. He is passionate about expanding access to collaborative, translational research that improves outcomes and quality of life for children with cancer.
