Zara Dunefsky is a Biospecimen Research Coordinator supporting the Children’s Brain Tumor Network (CBTN) research programs. In this role, she is responsible for data entry, as well as managing and accessioning specimens for CBTN’s external sites.

Prior to joining the D3B Center in January of 2026, Zara worked as a clinical research coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania where she contributed to pulmonary hypertension research through study coordination, patient interaction, and regulatory support.

Zara completed a BS from University of Maryland School of Public Health in Family Science. She is dedicated to improving outcomes for children with cancer through collaborative research, increasing access to healthcare, and driving the development of efective health solutions for all families.
