Cade Fortney is a Clinical Research Assistant who participates in the informed consent process for study subjects, research participant scheduling and history, data collection, data entry, and data management for CBTN and Liquid Biopsy research at the D3b Center. Additionally, Cade ensures compliance with laboratory procedures and IRB approved protocols, schedules appointments, and maintains study source documents.
Prior to joining the D3b Center in August of 2022, Cade worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the Cognitive Neuroscience of Creativity Laboratory at Penn State University under the Supervision of Dr. Roger Beaty.
Cade completed a BS in Neuropsychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Penn State University. He is committed to providing hope, knowledge, and opportunities to the future generations after him. He plans to achieve this goal by dedicating himself to working collaboratively with the amazing Clinical Research Unit team here at D3B. In the future, Cade plans to use the experience gained at D3b as an asset when applying to graduate programs.
