Lina Lopez is a Clinical Research Coordinator responsible for subject consenting, data collection and study implementation. She informs patients and families of research study requirements throughout the consent process and defines standard operating procedures (SOPs) and data collection methods as part of the patient-consenting process. In April of 2016, Lina joined CHOP as a resource coordinator for the KIDSS Research Study in the department of Adolescent Medicine.
Lina earned an associate degree in Social Behavior from the Community College of Philadelphia before earning a BA in Psychology from Temple University. She also holds a Resiliency Certificate from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. She is dedicated and engaged in the common goal of bringing together cancer research discoveries that can contribute to and collaborate together to end pediatric cancer and save the lives of the most vulnerable [children].
