Pediatric Neuroradiologist

Dr. Lorenna Vidal is an attending Pediatric Neuroradiologist in the Division of Neuroradiology in the Department of Radiology. Dr. Vidal completed her medical education in 2005 at the Universidade Federal do Pará – UFPA, School of Medicine in Belem, Para, Brazil. From 2006-2009 she completed her radiology residency at the Hospital Ophir Loyola in Belem, Para, Brazil.
In 2012, she moved to the U.S. and as part of the alternative pathway, completed four fellowships encompassing Neuroradiology Research, Neuroradiology, Body Imaging and Nuclear Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. In 2016, she started a pediatric neuroradiology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital, in Houston, TX. Beginning in 2017, Dr. Vidal worked as an attending Neuroradiologist and Pediatric Neuroradiologist at the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine/Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.
