Aria Mahtabfar is a Research Fellow who focuses on utilizing radiomic and histopathologic data for prognostic modeling in translational brain tumor research.
Aria joined the D3b Center in July of 2022. His research captures clinically relevant data pre-operatively to augment surgical strategy, and to provide patients and families with a greater understanding of the disease process.
Aria completed a BS from the University of Pennsylvania before his MD at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is currently a Neurosurgery Resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Aria is committed to using advanced computational and analytical techniques to help alter the course of
current treatment paradigms. He enjoys being surrounded by such a talented and goal-focused team at D3b.
