Biospecimen Research Coordinator

Michelle Nikhinson is a Biospecimen Research Coordinator responsible for managing, collecting, and accessioning biological samples, as well as related data entry, for external CBTN sites.
Prior to joining D3b in June of 2024, Michelle worked as an ABA therapist for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as a Supplemental Instructor for the Introductory Psychology course at Tulane University. Additionally, Michelle worked as a research assistant in the Lu Lab at Tulane University School of Medicine, studying p53, a tumor suppressor protein, and as a research assistant in the Murray Lab, also at Tulane, focused social and evolutionary psychology.
Michelle earned a BS in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Her previous education and experience has expanded her passion for neurology and working with children. Michelle is excited to be a part of an organization that is committed to improving outcomes for children with pediatric cancer and hopes to use the skills and knowledge she gains to pursue a career in medicine.
