Shay Overstone is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Division of Neurosurgery who supports activities including informed consent, data collection, data entry/management and coordination between the division of neurosurgery and D3B. Shay focuses on Cerebrovascular Malformations in her collaboration with the D3b Center team.
Prior to joining CHOP in July of 2023, Shay was a coordinator and moderator of research within the tech realm. As an undergrad, Shay spent time at the Social and Affective Neuroscience Lab under the supervision of Chelsea Helion.
Shay completed a BA in psychology at Temple University. Her curious and compassionate spirit only contribute to her dedication for the pioneering efforts of the D3B team. Shay is humbled and driven by the opportunity to play a role in improving the quality of life for children and families in the future.
