Clinical Research Coordinator/GFAC Tissue Navigator

Sonora Reingruber is a Tissue Navigator for the Gift from a Child (GFAC) Initiative as well as a Clinical Research Coordinator for projects within the Children’s Brain Tumor Network. In her role as Tissue Navigator, Sonora supports families throughout the donation process of post-mortem tissue. Her responsibilities within CBTN include obtaining patient consents, data entry and management, and supporting other coordinators and staff with project-specific needs.
Prior to joining CHOP in November of 2023, Sonora worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Clinical Trial Center, LLC located in Jenkintown, PA. She was involved in clinical research studies in areas such as memory loss/neurology, women’s health, and respiratory conditions.
Sonora completed dual BS degrees in Biology and Philosophy, along with double minors in Biochemistry and Theology at the University of Scranton. She is committed to helping children and their families during some of the hardest points in their lives and being a part of the research that will hopefully lead to better prognosis/treatment for them in the future.
