Biospecimen Research Unit Program Manager

Catherine Sullivan is the Biospecimen Research Unit Program Manager responsible for overseeing all of D3b’s biospecimen operational activities including those collected under the Children’s Brain Tumor Network. She also assists with incoming specimen requests, sequencing projects, biobanking management for existing and new studies through the BioRepository Core at CHOP, managing the Biospecimen Research Unit, and supporting cross-unit efforts for incoming and outgoing specimens and specimen data.
Before starting at CHOP in 2018, Catherine volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician, worked in research at A. I. DuPont Nemours Children’s Hospital, and worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Catherine completed a BS degree in Neuroscience and Pre-Medical Studies from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She is committed to working with children and having an impact on their lives through her continued work at D3b.
