Erica Watson is a Biospecimen Research Coordinator responsible for managing, collecting and accessioning specimens along with data entry for all internal studies and two external studies: Pario, Cerebrovascular Malformations, Craniofacial pathologies, Children’s Brain Tumor Network, and Epilepsy, (external studies) Corsica and Biofluids biorepository.
Prior to joining CHOP in October 2022, Erica worked as a Drexel LADDER Lab research assistant, Drexel Independent Research Study- How One’s SES Affects Motivation for Academic Success, and Teaching Assistant for 8th grade algebra at Steppingstone Scholars.
Erica earned a BS in Psychology from Drexel University, after transferring from LaSalle University, attended for first year. She was once a child here at CHOP with a very rare tumor called pheochromocytoma. Being a part of this team means being a part of a mission to help families like hers.
