Xu Zhu is a Full Stack Developer responsible for building tools and web applications to enable collaboration with partners and investigators. She also builds applications to support the internal data engineering and bioinformatics teams.
Before joining CHOP in February of 2019, Xu worked as a full-stack developer building web applications to collect clinical data. These applications were used as internal data validation tools for data analysts.
Xu earned an MS in Bioformatics with a concentration in computer science from the University of Delaware. She is committed to creating applications and tools that can benefit the healthcare research community. Additionally, she enjoys the collaborative relationships between the data engineering and bioinformatics teams at D3b.
